The 2015 Christmas Special

The Vintage Rebellion Podcast returns for a Special Christmas Show.

The normal format goes out the window as the boys have a roundtable looking back at 2015 and a look into the future as they delve into 2016.

There is plenty of short interviews as we hear from past guests, Edd Grant, Bruce White, Tim Veekhoven, Iain Sanderson, Ross Barr, Gary Smith, Chris Mann, Andrew Norton and Jason Smith. Each of them discuss various aspects of the last 12 months, The Force Awakens and 2016.

As well as all this we also have a second pantomime, which is once again written and directed by Richard. joining the team to star in this is Iain Sanderson, Jason Smith, Chris Mann, Dan Burgess, Ross Barr and introducing Jason's wife, Katie Hegarty Smith.

Episode 19 : Dyer Another Day

A little later than normal but the boys are back with another stonking show.

Laurence Dyer joins Stuart for this months interview to discuss his research into the Palitoy Warehouse that his Grandad designed, Laurence also talks about his personal collecting as well as explaining why he has a love for the Amanaman figure.

Richard is joined by Chris Fawcett, James Simkins and Eric Green as he finds out the back story of the recent amazing haul, dubbed 'The Big Pick'.

Jared Cope returns to the podcast during the market section to talk more about his Star Wars Tracker with Pete and Jez hooks up for a second discussion with lasts months Guest Malcolm Tween as they delve into Malcolms other artwork.

Episode 18 : The French Connection

The Vintage Rebellion returns with their 18th instalment as the five Brits sit down to discuss Vintage Star Wars collecting.

Joining the team for this months feature interview is none other than the author of 'La French Touch', Stephane Faucourt. Stephane discusses his books and his Meccano and Trilogo collection, as well as telling the Rebellion what it was like growing up with Star Wars in France during the Original trilogy era.

The team are delighted to welcome two other guests during this months Rebel Briefing too. Gus Lopez joins Richard to discuss his Sandcrawler wooden pattern, whilst joining Jez is Malcolm Tween, who is the man whose designed the stunning Star Wars stamps just released by Royal Mail. Jez also takes a look at the communities newest acquisitions as he delves into the forums and Facebook to see the impressive purchases being made within this wonderful hobby.

Pete brings us an update on the prop auction that he discussed last month and tells us of some of the prices realised amongst those impressive lots.  Pete and Jez also review the summers hottest event, the Secret Cinema, that they were both fortunate to attend.

Episode 17 : May The Fawcett Be With You

This months Vintage Rebellion Podcast has a standout interview with collecting illuminati Chris Fawcett, Chris makes a special announcement regarding a project he is working on for Insider Magazine as well as chatting to the Rebellion about a few of his astounding collecting stories.  As well as having Mr Fawcett on the show, we also have Mr Imperial Gunnery himself, JohnPaul Ragusa, who joins Richard for a Oddball special.  Jez brings us the New Acquisitions which he has been looking at including a bargain Squid Head MOC, completing last 17 runs, retro t-shirts, 30 back Yodas, Canadian transitions, graded comics, A Wing test shots, display rooms and Vader utility packs, which is just a sample of the many things he discusses on his segment this month.  In this months Rebel Briefing we look at a whole manner of news including London Film and Comic Con moving to Brighton for this winters show and Daniel Burgess joins the crew to review Force Friday.  Pete brings us another look at the current market where he discusses some beautiful Star Wars items in the Prop Store Auction.  All this plus all your other favourite sections should make this podcast another epic adventure. 

Episode 16 : Rumble in the Internet Jungle

The Vintage Rebellion returns as Rich discusses the Facebook group boom with regular Facebook contributors Matt George, Bill Harvat and Ross Barr.  The positives of Facebook are discussed as well as advantages over using the more traditional forums.  Craig Stevens drops by in this months oddballs to discuss oddball items from the Star Wars era in the UK between 1976 and 1979.  Pete also welcomes a guest in this Market section as Jared Cope joins him to chat about his Star Wars Tracker.  Jez takes a look at the acquisitions being acquired across the forums and Facebook and takes a more extensive look at the Vintage Millennium Falcon ship as well as the toy Blasters that have been picked up by Dr Ball and Twisted Metal.  We have music from Chris Cape as well as much much more on this months Vintage Rebellion Podcast.  We hope you enjoy!!!!!

Episode 15 : Triple Double Telescopic

The Rebellion return with their fifteenth outing.  Lee Pizzey joins Stuart and Grant to chat about his collection and early memories including Jason Joiner events from back in the 90s.  Lee's good friend Marc Walsh also joins Grant for this months Oddball Section as he discusses his complete Revenge proof run which he will be selling off at the imminent Farthest From.  Talking of Farthest From, Dave Tree joins Grant in this months events section to tell us about a couple of special guests he has attending the event as well as a fantastic VIP ticket opportunity.  Star Wars in the News sees Ross Barr join Richard as they discuss the recent crazy hauls that seem to be being unearthed on Facebook, Richard also looks at the recent Double Telescopic Lightsabre sale off Facebook and some other cracking news pieces.  Jez hosts his largest LA segment so far as he looks at new acquisitions from across the entire collecting spectrum, from Star Wars Forum UK through to the Facebook groups and going via other forums.  Of course Pete brings us his market watch as he once again looks at what has been selling and checks out the recent auctions.  All this plus the usual banter completes the most recent effort from the SWTVR podcast crew.  SEE YOU ALL AT FARTHEST FROM!!!

Episode 14 : The Rebellion Awakens

The Vintage Rebellion kicks off where SWFUK Podcast was left with a belter of the show.

Joining the team for an interview this month is Star Wars Forum founder and trilogo enthusiast Edd Grant.  We also here from Shane Turgeon during this months news as we discuss his forthcoming book 'Force in the Flesh : Book 2.

In this months oddballs Grant catches up with Star Wars Insider Magazines Jonathan Wilkins, whilst he also discusses the recent Watford FilmFair convention with Podcast family member Daniel Burgess.

We also have the other usual segments for you to sink your teeth into as Market, Latest Acquisitions and Rapid Fire all return for the first edition of 'The Vintage Rebellion', in fact all that has changed is added banter as Richard gets more stick than usual!!!

Episode 13 : Every Saga Has An Ending

Episode 13 is finally launched with a huge announcement regarding the podcast going forward.

The show is slightly different to the normal format as we bring you live recordings from Celebration Anaheim as we share our live show with the listeners.  We have interviews galore from the podcast members who attended Celebration as they speak with John Morton, Iain Sanderson as well as the delightful people from Order 66.

We do still have a couple of the usual segments as Jez brings us the Latest Acquisitions, Richard takes us through Star Wars in the News and Pete reflects on the Vectis auction that he discussed on the previous podcast.

All this to sink your teeth into in what is a relative short podcast for us chaps!

Episode 11 : Recognising Foul Stenches

Welcome to the eleventh instalment of the ever growing Star Wars Forum UK Podcast, Recognising Foul Stenches.

We are delighted to welcome a new member to the podcast crew as the four become five once again with forum favourite Jez joining the team.  This months interview is totally charming as we chat to American Bruce White about Princess Leia, Tattoos, Art, Anaheim and his Cosmetic Beauty Bag.  This months oddballs takes a behind the scenes look at the autograph track, joining Grant to look at this is none other than Gerald Home, A.K.A. IT'S 2015 and the crew from The SWFUK podcast return with their longest episode to date.

On this month's show we hear from Plastic Galaxy director Brian Stillman as he sits in with Stuart and Grant for this months feature interview.

Grant concludes his latest two part oddball section as we hear the final part of his interview with Retroblastings Michael and Melinda.

The Christmas Special

IT'S CHRISTMAS!  And to celebrate the holiday season the SWFUK Podcast crew have put together a special Xmas Show for your listening pleasure.  The regulars are joined by forum favourites Jez and Chris Mann as special guest hosts.  Within the show there are many Christmas cracker jokes, out takes, discussions, Poetry and the announcement of this years forum awards winners.  As well as all this we have the SWFUK Podcasts first ever pantomime 'the Farce Awakens' starring the podcast team along with Jez, Chris Mann, Jason Smith and Dan Burgess.  So grab a mulled wine and listen to some Christmas Star Wars Banter during this festive season.

Episode Four : Shawn of the Jedi is the fourth edition of the Star Wars Forum UK Podcast.  This month sees a lengthy edition with an extra long Events section after the Podcast team all discuss their memories from the recent Farthest From event in Fordingbridge.  Whilst at the event a member of the podcast team managed to speak to Palitoy Junky and Jamie Brown A.K.A.
